A representative for Whitefriats Canterbury, Martyn Barr said “It was a fantastic evening – a great atmosphere and a real buzz around the place. Up to 10,000 students shopped in Whitefriars that evening, benefiting from discounts of up to 50%”.
Several of our retailers reported record takings, even trouncing larger stores at Bluewater, who coincidentally held a student event on the same evening.”
Freebies were everywhere all night, with free pizza from ‘Dominos’, being a firm favourite. ‘Student Republic, ‘Jack Wills’, and a variety of other stores were also hosting competitions.
